Hair Store Review Series – Maramma

Hi Ladies. I’m starting a new series called “Hair Store Review”. It’s basically discovering and reviewing hair stores here in Abuja that sell good hair products. As a hair blogger, one of my biggest problem is finding stores that sell really good hair products and at affordable prices. More often I’ll see a product I like, buy it and then probably not see it again till a long time. Products aren’t really consistent in stores here so I was happy when I discovered this store.
I was browsing hair stores in Abuja online randomly and the name came up. I decided to check it out and was impressed at the quality of products they sell. I sent them a mail asking to do a review and got a prompt and positive response.

Name of Store: Maramma Cosmetics and Beauty Supply

Established: Mid – 2014

Location: Plot 165A 1st Avenue Gwarimpa (Opposite Drumstix), Abuja.

Opening Hours: 9 am – 8 pm Mondays to Saturdays.

Website: www.facebook.com/marammabeauty

Maramma sells a variety of good hair products and accessories ranging from shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers to wigs, combs and even accessories for salons. I spent a while taking in everything as I was awed. Some of the products include; Jessicurl, AsIam, Jamaican Black Castor oil, Shea Moisture, Cantu Shea Butter, Aphogee, Jane Carter Solution, Eden, Mizani, Keracare, TRESsemme,  Motions, Lusters S Curl no Drip Activator e.t.c I have dreamed of using some of these products and wondered if I’ll ever see them in Nigeria. Lol. I hope to get the Jessicurl soon as Klp of Savingourstrands raves about it all the time.

I took a few pictures of some of the products see them below.

Apart from hair products Maramma also sells beauty and skincare products too. You can check their website (above) or the store for more information. One of the things I like about this store is that it has products I don’t see often in other hair stores and I am confident that I can always find them here.
Like I mentioned earlier, finding products in Nigeria especially Abuja (as far as I’m concerned) is hard. Most times once you buy a particular brand, you may not last long with it because there’s a 90% chance you won’t see it to buy again. So to find a store that will have my favourite brands on a regular is an answer to prayers. If you are like me and have been looking for a place to buy quality hair products look no further because this is one of the many answers to our hair prayers. Lol!

What new hair stores have you discovered?

Have a blessed week ahead ladies…
