Hi ladies. How’s your week going? Welcome to a new
month and also my birthday month *whoop whoop*!!! I’ll be having a giveaway
soon to celebrate my birthday and say a big thank you to all my readers. Y’all
the bomb!
My washday last weekend was pretty simple. It’s
always so easy to wash my hair after a relaxer session. No tangles or hassles!
Lol!!
Here’s how it went;
- Detangled my hair with my fingers and a wide toothed
comb. Since my hair had been in a loose bun because of my relaxer burns, detangling
was pretty easy.
- Put my hair into plaits and clarified twice with Ors
Creamy Aloe Shampoo. I’m gradually falling in love with ORS products. Seriously
considering getting the whole haul!
- Tea rinse with 2 bags of Twining’s tea steeped in
hot water and cooled to room temperature. Over cooled actually because I left
it for a whole day *covers face*.
- Deep conditioned with a mix of Motions moisture
plus, Ors Replenishing conditioner and Organics Hair Mayonnaise and olive oil for
30 minutes with heat.
- Rinsed thoroughly with cool water. My hair felt so
soft and moisturized.
- Applied my leave –ins when my hair was 70% dry; Mega
Profective leave-in strengthener and Elasta Qp Olive oil and Mango butter and
sealed with coconut oil all over my hair and Wilmart’s Hairgrow and Jbco for my
edges and nape.
Put my hair in a loose updo and will leave it like
that for the rest of the week. I love how full my hair looks. Texlaxing
definitely agrees with me. Aye ladies?! I need to work seriously on my edges though. I
intend to take my Phro's Growth Challenge 2015 seriously this month and the
rest of the year especially when it comes to scalp massages. So help me God.
