Novel Reader Alert (2)!!!

Hi ladies. I’m back with another novel. I've actually read quite a few since my last Novel Reader Alert. I’m in love with reading! It soothes and relaxes me and also adds to my vocabulary. Lol!

I’m the kinda girl that says this;

I’m currently reading “A Lineage of Grace” by Francine Rivers. Francine Rivers is an amazing and gifted writer. The first book I read written by her is “Redeeming Love” and I was stunned. I love how she takes biblical characters and builds a story around them while still not deviating from the real scriptural message. I've seen “A Lineage of Grace” a number of times in bookstores over the years but always ignored it. For some strange reason I though it wouldn't be interesting. Two weeks ago, I walked into a new bookstore and went to their novel section and saw the book again. Out of curiosity I asked for the price and was shocked that it was so cheap so I bought it. I got it for N 750 (amazing right?) considering most of my books are usually N 1500 and above except there’s a sale.

Anyways, I started reading it a week ago and I've been hooked since then. The book is about the stories of 5 biblical women in the Bible who we may have overlooked at some point when reading our bibles. Their names were mentioned only a few times except for one who has a whole book named after her. These women are; Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary. What I've learnt since I started reading is that God doesn't use the perfect or seemingly perfect humans. HE takes the imperfect persons and makes them perfect! I pray that one day HE will turn my imperfections into something beautiful. Amen!!!

I’m still reading this book and would probably read it a few more times before I finally put it down! Lol!! I attended a program last Friday organized by The Covenant Christian Center – “The Platform”.

If you are in Abuja and missed this program I’m sorry I didn’t advertise it sooner and I have to say you missed a lot. I was privileged to hear a lot of great persons speak on how to grow your business from the famous Tonye Cole of Sahara Group to Ibukun Awosika of The Chair Centre. It was an amazing program and I am full of great ideas for the blog and my businesses as I write this. So, watch out because great things are going to start happening on this blog and you don’t want to miss out!!

That said, have an amazing week ahead ladies…

I would love to hear from you so please feel free to drop a comment or two below.
